Dedication to Quality
In January of 2010, California passed Assembly Bill 138 to require mandatory peer review for all CPA firms that compile, review or audit financial statements to protect California consumers. Many California CPA Firms, who were not members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, will be having their first Peer review during the period of 2010 through 2012.
Mr. Sabbatini's firm has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) since the 1980's. As a member of the AICPA his firm has undergone Peer review every three years since the late 1980's. Peer reviews are designed to determine that AICPA Member firms have implemented a system of quality control to insure that its work product has met professional standards. The reviews are conducted by an outside CPA Peer Review firm who randomly selects and reviews accounting engagements, as well as reviewing the firm's continuing education records, independence and the adequacy firm's library. Over the years, Mr. Sabbatini's firm has undergone eight peer reviews and has received an unqualified opinion on the firm's system of quality control and financial statements on each of the peer reviews. The Firm has demonstrated their commitment to Professional standards by being a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and having ongoing peer reviews years before it became mandatory. We would be pleased to provide you with a copy of the firms most recent peer review report upon request.
